Cupid/Star Rod Kirby

Wow! Before I start to say anything, I'm just going to comment on how much I love this piece. It's one of the greater Kirby fanarts I've seen in my time here in the fandom/on deviantART.

I'm going to start with the vision. The picture wonderfully presents your idea of an ability mix. I'd actually...really want to see this ability in a Kirby game. I truly would. I'll give it a 5.

The originality will be a bit lower since it's fanart, but the style is wonderful. It's new and strays from the traditional style of Kirby, but not too far at all. It actually works with the Kirby tradition of simplicity, which is hard to do with a unique style in a fandom. The ability mix is pretty darn original as well, if I do say so myself. I'll give this a 4.5.

Technique is great! The glowing star looks wonderful, and the lighting follows along perfectly. The translucent material is extremely well done, too. I give this a 5.

The impact won't be as high, since it doesn't make me think really deep or anything, but this piece does take me slightly aback in how well done it is and the skill that was put into this. I'll give it another 4.5.

Overall, this is a wonderful piece of artwork. I'm sorry that I couldn't give any advice, but the only advice I'd really have is to maybe put some shadows where they belong in the translucent ribbon. Besides, this is so well done, it was hard to say anything other than "this is awesome"! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Big Grin)"/> Keep up the great work!
